Champurrado

Instructions

1. Add the milk and cinnamon sticks to a medium sized pot and heat over high until boiling.
2. Blend the masa and water together until smooth. Then strain into the pot with the milk and cinnamon to remove any lumps.
3. Whisk the mixture and heat until boiling and thick.
4. Lower the heat and add in the chocolate, piloncillo and vanilla white occasionally stirring until completely mixed and,

A thick, warm chocolate drink made with masa and cinnamon, perfect for cold or rainy days.
Fun fact: it is one of the oldest chocolate drinks in the work, dating back to pre-hispanic times.

-Ingredients-
- 1 1/2 cups Water
- 4 cups Milk
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 chocolate tablets
- 1/2 cup masa harina
